Resurfacing Warranty

Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing is committed to bringing you the highest quality equipment, procedures and materials to provide a long-lasting, high gloss, durable coating on your bathroom surfaces. We stand by our work 100%! We guarantee our work for three (3) years against peeling, flaking, and any errors or defects in the workmanship of your reglazed surface, unless otherwise stated below. If the surface blisters, peels, cracks, or fades, Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing LLC must be notified of such defect immediately. Please retain warranty to facilitate warranty repairs. CTT will inspect the problem area and determine whether the resulting damage was caused by a defect in the product or workmanship. If Buyer notifies CTT within the warranty period of any aforesaid defects in the materials and Buyer shows the materials were used and maintained in accordance with CTT recommendations and standard industry practice, CTT. will cure defects by suitable repair at its own expense.  Additionally, while our process removes and helps with the prevention of rust, we cannot guarantee or warranty against any potential reoccurrence of corrosions or rust-related issues. While our process removes and helps with the prevention of mold, we cannot guarantee or warranty against any potential reoccurrence of mold related issues. Due to their high fail rate we do not warranty the coating on soap dishes. The grout lines behind the coating is also not warrantied. Regular maintenance, with the proper cleaning solutions, will keep your reglazed surface looking bright and glossy for years to come.This warranty is non-transferrable.Custom Tub And Tile Resurfacing LLC. will NOT be liable for:

  • Damage caused by objects placed on the refinished surface such as: suction-cup bathmats, pillows, soap dishes or any similar products used on the tub. We offer a slip resistant surface as an accessory option to our tub service.
  • Damage caused by the use of any product not specifically designed for acrylic surfaces which may include: Comet, Ajax, Kaboom or ANY other abrasive cleaners, acids, toilet bowl cleaners, etc.
  • Damage caused by the use of abrasives such as: comet, scrubbing sponges, steel wool, sandpaper or any other gritty objects or cleaners.
  • Damage caused by the bathtub being touched or exposed to water within 24 hours following the completion of the refinishing process.
  • Damage caused by the use of tools, ladders or other heavy objects in the tub, dropped on the tub, or knocked against it.
  • Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing LLC. is not responsible for dust particles that may fall into the tub while the new finish is drying. Most particles caught in the drying topcoat will be removed naturally in the process of normal cleaning.

The following conditions will void your warranty:

  1. The surface must not be allowed to remain continuously wet from items such as bathmats left on the surface without drying both the tub and the mat between uses.
  2. The fixture must not be used for water storage or contain standing water for extended periods of time.
  3. Damage caused by continuous wetness from leaking or dripping plumbing.
  4. Damage, chips or nicks caused by sharp or falling objects or by misuse.
  5. Staining or discoloration from chemicals, bleaches, rust, hair dyes or the use of abrasive cleaners.
  6. The use of abrasive cleaners.
  7. Movement in the substructure resulting in cracks or splits in the refinished surface or grout lines.
  8. Degradation of the refinished surface caused by lack of cleaning.

In the event of any failure covered under this warranty, Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing LLC. will, at its option, 1) Repair the failed area, 2) refinish the entire fixture or 3) refund the price of the job to you, pro-rated as set forth above if applicable. Caulk, plumbing and shower doors are not warranted. Travel charges may apply if the fixture is located out of our service area. If any problems occur, Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing, LLC must be notified within 72 hours or warranty may be voided.

Caulking:  Caulking is a service that is included in most of our service packages, but caulk should be replaced regularly to improve the risk of mold, cracks or damage. For that reason we do not warranty caulking. 

Re-Grouting:  Re-Grouting is a service that is included in our tile packages, but re-grouting should replaced regularly to improve the risk of mold, cracks or damage. Additionally, Tile walls can develop (stress) cracks due to earthquakes, storms, foundation shifting etc. this can lead to problems. For that reason we do not warranty re-grouting. 

Plumbing:  Our workmen are not plumbers. They are not trained, licensed or authorized to do plumbing. They may, under certain circumstances find it necessary to remove or loosen handles, spouts, drain pieces or overflow covers. In those cases we will be responsible for those items unless the age or general decay of pipes or fixtures make this impossible.

This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from the following: use of the resurfaced area prior to cure completion (24 hours from time of service); use of bath-mats or any suction cup devices; hair dyes, drain opening solutions, or any abrasive cleaners (including, but not limited to, bleach or bleach-based products and other products listed in the cleaning instructions provided); property staff, vendor or resident-inflicted damage; installation or removal of shower doors; chipping or scratching caused by hard impact such as dropping tools, paint cans etc. or from cleaning pets on the surface. Additionally, while our process removes and helps with the prevention of rust, we cannot guarantee or warranty against any potential reoccurrence of corrosions or rust-related issues. While our process removes and helps with the prevention of mold, we cannot guarantee or warranty against any potential reoccurrence of mold related issues. Due to their high fail rate we do not warranty the coating on soap dishes or caulk lines as silicone caulking should be replaced regularly.  The grout lines behind the coating is also not warrantied.  Regular maintenance, with the proper cleaning solutions, will keep your reglazed surface looking bright and glossy for years to come.

Casting Warranty
